Showers and storms to stick around for Tuesday before we dry out again

ORLANDO, Fla. – Showers and thunderstorms will move in for much of the afternoon on Tuesday as a cold front is forecast to push through Central Florida. The chance of rain is about 60%.

After the front moves through, drier air is expected as a high-pressure system builds in, then a cooldown is forecast for the middle of the workweek.

The next notable rain chance isn’t likely until Saturday, so most days between Wednesday and Friday should be dry and pleasant.

Warm temperatures leading up to the front

Highs today through Tuesday are expected to reach the low 80s, which is about average for this time of year.

For Wednesday and Thursday, highs will be in the mid 70s. Temperatures bounce back up to near 80 by Friday and into the weekend.
