Brisk start, nice day in Central Florida. Is Christmas week looking naughty or nice?

Orlando to reach highs near 80s in coming days

ORLANDO, Fla. – Warm and mostly quiet weather is settling in to Central Florida, with a few spotty showers in the mix this week.

Tuesday & Wednesday

High pressure over the Southeast is moving offshore, keeping an onshore breeze across the region. This setup will allow for partly cloudy skies and a gradual warmup. Light coastal showers are possible, but rain chances remain low at around 10-20%.

Tuesday’s highs will reach the low to mid-70s, warming into the upper 70s on Wednesday.

Overnight lows will fall into the low to mid-50s inland and low 60s along the coast.

Thursday & Friday

Conditions begin to change late Thursday as a weakening cold front approaches. This could lead to a few more scattered showers Thursday afternoon into the evening, with coverage around 20-30%.

The front moves through late Friday, bringing mostly dry conditions behind it. Don’t expect a big change in the temperatures as highs will remain above normal, with highs in the upper 70s to low 80s.

Christmas Preview

Looking ahead to Christmas, the forecast is shaping up to stay on the mild side, with no major changes.

Current trends show relatively quiet weather for a large portion of the country as well, which should be good for those planning on traveling during the holidays.
