ORLANDO, Fla. – After a frigid marathon weekend in 2025, when temperatures struggled to get out of the low 40s, runners will be treated to much more comfortable weather for this year’s Disney Marathon Weekend.
You may want a light extra layer as races get underway, but the good news is rain gear can stay at home as conditions look dry and mild throughout the weekend.
Race mornings will start out in the 50s as runners head out from the EPCOT parking lot. If you’re running the 5K or 10K, be prepared for some fog at the starting line, which should gradually lift as the morning goes on. Visibility may be a little limited early, but conditions improve fairly quickly.
For those sporting your prized medals and enjoying the parks later in the day, it will feel more like spring than winter, with afternoon highs climbing into the low 80s. In fact, Friday and Saturday could approach record highs for Orlando.
Half and full marathon runners should see less fog early, though clouds may linger longer into the afternoon as a weakening cold front moves closer to Central Florida. Thankfully, this system looks to have minimal impact, with little to no rain expected as it slides through late Sunday.
Whether you’re running a single race or taking on the ultimate Dopey challenge, best of luck and enjoy the run!
