Rare late-season blast of cold moves into Central Florida. Here’s when

30s possible north of Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla. – The large swings in the temperature department have been the calling card of the winter to date.

In the season’s final week, winter will let Central Florida know it’s not done yet.

Behind the storms sparked a strong late-season cold front a significant drop in temperatures will be expected.

By Tuesday morning, most of Central Florida will be waking up in the 40s.

North of Orlando, temperatures could dip into the 30s. Closer to the coast, the 50s will hang on.

Even with increasing sunshine Tuesday, highs will struggle to jump out of the 50s.

Temperatures will fall back into the 30s and 40s Wednesday morning.

A gradual warming trend will take place through the rest of the work week.

By Saturday, highs will return to around 80 degrees.
