ORLANDO, Fla. – Cool mornings, warm afternoons, and just a hint of rain chances returning this weekend as Central Florida settles into a comfortable spring pattern with a gradual warmup ahead.
Expect partly sunny skies with a few more clouds hugging the coast on Wednesday afternoon for Earth Day.
Winds will pick up a bit, reaching around 10 to 15 mph inland and closer to 15 mph or higher along the coast with occasional gusts. High temperatures will be pleasant, topping out in the upper 70s near the beaches and climbing into the low to mid 80s inland.
LATE WEEK
Looking ahead, the overall pattern will shift a bit as more moisture creeps back into the area, sparking a few isolated showers starting Thursday. Highs towards the end of the week are expected to climb above average in the upper 80s.
WEEKEND
By Friday and into the weekend, a few isolated thunderstorms will be possible, with rain chances around 20-30 percent.
Temperatures will also be on the rise as highs flirt with the 90s inland and mid 80s along the coast.
