Hunter Michael Hill faces manslaughter charge

CASSELBERRY, Fla. – An 18-year-old man was arrested Wednesday in the fatal shooting of his friend at a Casselberry home in July, according to police.

The Casselberry Police Department said Hunter Michael Hill faces a manslaughter charge stemming from the shooting of Isaiah Santiago, 17.

Police responded to the shooting on July 28 on Paddock Way near Seminola Boulevard, east of U.S. 17-92.

The department said the arrest came months after the shooting due to “Hill’s parents’ refusal to cooperate with the investigation.”

According to Casselberry police, early in the investigation a woman reported she had received a phone call from her son, who said he accidentally shot his friend.

No other details have been released.
