ORLANDO, Fla. – Lake County Sheriff's Office reported downed trees and powerlines on Wednesday after storms moved through the region.
Significant weather advisories were issued, packing winds in excess of 40 mph with frequent lightning.

There will be a 20 percent chance of storms Wednesday night.
"Of course, before the rain, it will be all about the heat," said News 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges. "We will be warming to 96 degrees in Orlando, with the 'feels like' temperature reaching 105."
"Expect high temperatures to stay above the average, at least in the mid-90s, through the weekend," Bridges said. "Rain chances will remain typical for this time of year, and we'll be at 40 percent for Wednesday through Saturday. By Sunday, we do see drier air working in, with the chance of rain at 30 percent."
