ORLANDO, Fla. – It will again be breezy with a slight chance of showers and highs in the mid-80s in Central Florida.
"Once again, an east-northeast breeze will bring a few quick-moving showers," News 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said. "A few showers move into Orange County for the drive to work."
Most of the showers will be fairly light, with some embedded downpours.
Afternoon highs will be close to the average of 84 degrees.
Temperatures will be a little above average for the next several days, with the chance of rain at 20 percent through Wednesday.
"Expect a 30 percent coverage of rain on Thursday, and we're back to 20 percent on Friday and Saturday," Bridges said.
A new front will try to make its way through Central Florida much later in the week, dropping highs into the upper 70s by the weekend.
Tracking the tropics
"There is a new wave over the Bahamas that has a 50 percent chance of further development over the next five days," Bridges said.

The weather system will increase seas up to 7 feet for our coast the next couple days and bring high rip current risks.
Some computer models show the system heading north, while others show it turning west, near the Florida-Georgia line.
"We will have to pay close attention to this system," Bridges said. "It will likely not impact Florida directly, but it's still early to tell."
