Jones Takes Care Of Business Against Lake Highland 41-13 FIghtin' Tigers Secure Playoff Spot
October 28, 2016 – 2016 has already been a remarkable season for the Jones Fightin' Tigers.
It's just become sweeter.
Under first-year coach Elijah Williams, the Tigers secured a playoff berth with a 41-13 defeat of Lake Highland Prep in Week 10.
Jones quarterback Qadry Jones set the tone with two early touchdown passes.
The Fightin' Tigers improved to 9 & 1 with the victory, their best record in years.
Jones caps off the regular season next week at Avon Park.
Lake Highland Prep, a respectable 6 & 3, wraps up its regular season schedule at Trinity Prep.
