CLERMONT, Fla. – Just outside of Orlando is a unique staycation destination that combines Willy Wonka with a resort experience.

And it’s called “The Sweet Escape.”

Owned by self-made millionaire Andrew Greenstein, the 5-acre gated property features a “celebrity-level mansion” that can sleep over 50 people and is almost entirely decked out in sweets-themed décor.

The property boasts 11 bedrooms, two buildings with two massive kitchens, as well as three living rooms, a splash pad, mini golf course, playgrounds, indoor (and outdoor) movie theater, VR gaming, spa equipment, and even an “ice cream pool.”

The property actually has a main house and a guest house, with the bedrooms and bathrooms being spread throughout the two buildings.

There are also two kitchens, including the “Cereal Killer” kitchen.

Every single space in the home is decked out, top to bottom, with candy, sweets, puns, and plenty of other interactive elements — nothing is left untouched.

And despite the vast expanse, the entire property is at a guest’s disposal during his/her stay. That means you don’t have to worry about sharing.

“Any other Orlando-area vacation home or hotel... is just a place to sleep and then forget about,” the website reads. “In contrast, Sweet Escape is a vacation resort/experience itself. It is a place you will never want to leave.”

The bedrooms themselves have a variety of themes, including the following:

  • The Coca-Cola Bedroom — Features a vintage Coca-Cola machine; Carnival Coke ring toss; custom mural work; flat-screen TV; and a king-sized bed

But it’s the ice cream social discotheque and video game arcade are where much of the indoor fun happens. You can play foosball, air hockey, basketball, virtual bowling, other video games, sing karaoke and dance.

You can also catch some flicks or play on a PlayStation console in the Box of Chocolates indoor movie theater, which offers cable TV, over 120 DVDs, and streaming options.

The best part? It’s all included in your stay.

When you head outside, it’s the huge ice cream cone-shaped pool with a Sugar Rush waterslide and cherry on the top hot tub that initially gets your attention, with a nearby full outdoor kitchen and movie screen.

But farther out in the yard, you’ve got mini golf, human CandyLand, a Life Savers swingset and playground, a splash pad, a S’mores Campfire, life-sized chess, tetherball and volleyball.

If you want to go the extra mile, the staff can help you get everything you need, including a fully-stocked fridge, personal trainers, on-site massages and even private chefs.

“In fact, one of our most popular referrals is Hawaiian Luau dinner party poolside!” the website notes.
