New Bahama Breeze restaurant opens in Waterford Lakes

ORLANDO, Fla. – It started on Sand Lake Road's "Restaurant Row" back in 1996.

Now Bahama Breeze Island Grille has opened its 26th location in Waterford Lakes, on Alafaya Trail, just north of Waterford Lakes Town Center.

That marks the fifth Central Florida location for the Caribbean-themed chain. The new 306 seat restaurant created about 200 new jobs.

It will be open daily for lunch and dinner.

Bahama Breeze was developed, and is owned by Orlando-Based Darden Restaurants, Parent company to Red Lobster and Olive Garden among other brands.
