Holes in your vinyl siding? Patch them!

Step-by-step repair

Barbara had a bunch of holes and cracks in her vinyl siding but couldn’t spend a bunch of money replacing the panels, so we tried out Amazon’s recommended Vinyl Siding Repair Kit – plastic adhesive patches that can be cut to size and placed over the holes.

We brought with us:

Scissors

Step 1

Clean. This repair really can’t get any easier. Clean the area where you’ll be putting the patch. Rubbing alcohol is a great cleaner.

Step 2

Cut to size. Use scissors to cut a patch larger than the hole.

Step 3

Stick on. The more you press on the patch, the more the wood grain pattern on the siding panels will show through.
