The requested penalties for Rigdon range from a reprimand and fines to having his doctor’s license revoked.

(WFTV)ORLANDO, Fla. — Scattered storms are firing up with the potential for downpours and isolated street flooding, dangerous lightning, small hail and strong gusts of winds. Severe t-storm warning and quarter size hail threat until 3:30pm for Rockledge, Cocoa, Merritt Island, Suntree, Viera in Brevard County until 3:30pm. For the remainder of the afternoon, strong storms will build inland across Central Florida. Small hail, torrential rain, strong wind gusts will be the main threats, however, just before 2pm today, a tornado was reported in the Jacksonville area.

ORLANDO, Fla. — Just in time for summer break, Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida has teamed up with the National Association of Letter Carriers to collect nonperishable items to help stock shelves at food pantries across Central Florida. The annual event aims to stamp out hunger and assist families in need during the summer break. Every second Saturday in May, letter carriers in more than 10,000 cities and towns across America participate in the NALC Stamp Out Hunger National Food Drive.
