ORLANDO, Fla. – Last week, another six Central Florida businesses were told to close after a visit from a health inspector, according to state records.
These records show that the reported eateries experienced violations like rodent droppings, roaches, and storage issues, among others.

That said, most of the eateries were allowed to reopen after meeting inspection standards.
The full list of Central Florida eateries required to close last week is as follows:
FLAGLER BEACH
- Funky Pelican — 215 S. Ocean Shore Blvd.
- Closed on June 18
- Around 10 rodent droppings found on sticky traps behind bread stands and freezer
- Four small, flying insects found on premises
- Raw shell eggs stored over coleslaw in reach-in cooler
- Met inspection standards on June 19
MELBOURNE
- The Apollo Diner — 201 W. Hibiscus Blvd.
- Closed on June 18
- Three small, flying insects found on premises
- Nearly 100 rodent droppings found on premises
- Raw chicken kept over raw dough in upright freezer, removed from original packaging
- Time/temperature violations for soup, hash browns, sausage, shelled eggs, butter, sliced tomatoes, diced ham, and mixed leafy greens
- Dishmachine chlorine sanitizer not at proper minimum strength
- Employee made guest’s toast with bare hands

ORLANDO
