LIVE RADAR: Severe thunderstorms moving trough Central Florida

Warnings for Brevard County until 3:15 p.m.

ORLANDO, Fla. – Storms moved through Central Florida on Wednesday, causing severe thunderstorm warnings.

WEATHER WARNINGS

Central Osceola County is under a warning until 3:45 p.m. Impacted areas include Harmony Forever Florida, and Alligator Lake.

Central Brevard is under a warning until 3:15 p.m. Impacted areas include Melbourne, Rockledge, Cocoa Beach, Satellite Beach, and Merritt Island.

The main threats from both storms are damaging wind gusts.

A severe thunderstorm warning means that dangerous weather conditions are happening or are expected soon.

Head indoors if you are outside and stay away from windows.

Rest of Wednesday and Thursday

Thunderstorms are expected to become more widespread through the afternoon and early evening. A few storms could be severe through the evening, especially around the I-4 corridor. Damaging wind and large hail will be the primary threats,
