Central Florida troopers arrested in major overtime fraud case

ORLANDO, Fla. – A Central Florida trooper has been taken into custody as part of an overtime fraud investigation, according to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office.

Investigators identified the trooper as Capt. Lenita King, the Orlando District 2 commander for FHP Troop D.

Jail records show that King has been booked in Osceola County on charges of grand theft, fraud, and falsifying records. She is held on bond of $30,000.

The sheriff’s office also confirmed deputies served a warrant out of Osceola County for Trooper Maurice Vilsaint.

The warrant was issued out of Osceola County, which deputies said is the location of the alleged crime.
