DELAND, Fla. – DeLand Police shared early Sunday morning that they served a search warrant in connection with a double homicide earlier this week.
Officers say the warrant was served around 10:30 p.m. Saturday on Loughton Street.

Officers say the warrant was served with assistance from the Volusia Sheriff’s Office SWAT team and the FBI’s Safe Streets Task Force.
Earlier this week, officers say 2 teens were killed on a vacant industrial property near the historic Athens Theatre.
That’s only about three miles from where Police say they served the search warrant Saturday.
The victims were identified as 19-year-old Dustin Rose and 18-year-old Samson Campbell.
DeLand Police have not provided the name of a suspect.
