🐂Boots, Bulls, and Barrels returns to Kissimmee: Family-friendly rodeo event supports local students

KISSIMMEE, Fla. – The Silver Spurs Arena in Kissimmee is gearing up for an action-packed evening of rodeo excitement with the return of Boots, Bulls, and Barrels on Saturday.

The event, featuring thrilling competitions in barrel racing, saddle bronc riding, and bull riding, promises a night of family entertainment while supporting educational opportunities for local students.

The one-night-only event kicks off at 7:30 p.m., with tickets starting at $15. Spectators can secure their seats through the official website.

Competition highlights

Cowboys and cowgirls will compete for cash prizes in three of rodeo’s most popular events:

• Barrel racing
• Saddle bronc riding
• Bull riding

The event showcases the impressive rough stock raised by Silver Spurs Club members in Central Florida, continuing a proud tradition that spans over eight decades.

Supporting local education

The Silver Spurs Club, established in 1941, has maintained a strong commitment to education in Osceola County. Through events like Boots, Bulls, and Barrels, the organization has contributed over $55,000 in scholarships to graduating high school seniors, working in partnership with the Education Foundation of Osceola County.

“As a teacher in the School District of Osceola County, I see firsthand how much of an impact these scholarships can make,” says Katharine Whaley, 2025-2026 Silver Spurs Club Big Boss. “It’s not just about supporting students financially; it’s about showing them that their community believes in their future. Every ticket purchased helps us open doors for local graduates.”
