🪻Spring has officially sprung at All Fired Up in Winter Park

We check out their new spring collection you can paint

ORLANDO, Fla. – All Fired Up is stepping into its spring era—and the shelves prove it. From bunnies and Easter eggs to butterflies and basket-inspired pieces, the studio’s new spring collection is packed with seasonal options that make you want to paint ā€œjust one moreā€ item before you even pick a color.

A pottery-painting spot for everyone

Studio manager Madison Martinez says All Fired Up is designed for all ages and all kinds of plans. You can walk in or make a reservation by phone, and the studio also hosts everything from kids’ birthday parties and field trips to corporate events and team-building outings. Bonus: it’s BYOB, so you can bring whatever you’d like to sip while you paint.

Even better for first-timers: there are no studio fees. You simply pay for your piece, and then paint as long as you need—aka ā€œunlimited paintingā€ time.

The spring technique to try: lace

During the visit, Maddie demonstrated one of the studio’s more elegant techniques: a lace pattern—perfect for spring entertaining, especially on a plate you can use for desserts or snacks.

Here’s how the lace technique works:

  • Paint two coats of your base color.
  • Lay the lace on top.
  • Add one to two more coats of the same base color using a sponge to help the lace stick and create the pattern.

The result: a soft, detailed design that looks polished and gift-worthy—without being intimidating.

What happens after you paint

Once you finish your piece, the team keeps it for about five days to glaze and fire it. That step makes it food- and drink-safe and gives it that shiny, finished look. You can pick it up after five days (or anytime later), and the studio will hold it for up to two months.

Why it’s worth a spring visit

If you’re looking for a seasonal activity that doubles as dĆ©cor, a memory-maker, or a handmade hosting piece, All Fired Up’s spring collection delivers. Cute choices, a welcoming vibe, and a technique like lace that makes your pottery look extra special—this is your sign to stay local and play local.
