Police: Guns stolen from Orlando police car

Suspect still on loose, officials say

ORLANDO, Fla. – Orlando police are searching for the suspects who they say broke into an Orlando Police squad car and stole two guns.

Police said the officer's marked unit was parked outside of his home when the driver's side door was broken into, by being pried open with an unknown object.

A Bushmaster AR-15, along with a Remington shotgun with rounds were stolen--both property of the Orlando Police department, officials said.

Police said the burglary occurred sometime between Jan. 23 and Jan. 29.

No other details were immediately available, as the investigation continues.
