Police said the argument started earlier in the day as one sister prepared to return to South Florida, Local 6 News partner Florida Today reported.
Police said Delva walked outside to smoke a cigarette when she began to ask why her sister was being "disrespectful."
Delva walked over to the sibling, took three packages of the hair weave from her sister's luggage and threw them onto the roof of the house, police report.
Police said a fight ensued between the pair, prompting Delva to go into the home and retrieve a kitchen knife. The mother of the pair stepped in to break up the fight and grabbed the knife before calling police, reports show.
Delva was treated by paramedics for neck and knee injuries stemming from the fight and was taken to the Brevard County Jail Complex.
She posted a $5,000 bond April 1 before being released from the Brevard County Jail Complex, will have a May 1 court hearing on the charges.
A Brevard County judge also ordered Delva to have no further contact with her sister pending the outcome of the case.
