WINTER PARK, Fla. – A 20-year-old woman suspected of DUI crashed her sport utility vehicle through a Winter Park Steak 'n Shake restaurant early Thursday morning.
Brittany Christian faces a charge of driving under the influence after her SUV went through the front door of the Steak 'n Shake, which is located at 818 S. Orlando Ave., around 1:30 a.m.
The restaurant was open, but no customers were inside when the crash happened, Orange County sheriff's deputies said.
Employees were inside at the time, but no one was hurt, according to witnesses.
Witnesses said Christian was parked when suddenly the SUV accelerated forward and crashed through the door.
She was arrested and taken to jail.
