Ormond Memorial Hospital to be imploded City leaders set implosion date for July 22
ORMOND BEACH, Fla. – City leaders in Ormond beach want to knock down the old Ormond Memorial Hospital this summer, according to the News-Journal.
The hospital is located on Nova Road and State Road 40. The implosion is set for July 22 at 7:30 a.m. The dust cloud from the implosion is expected to last for about 10 minutes, which is about an hour less than it did for the Amway Arena implosion.
Cleanup is expected to take about three months.
