ROCKLEDGE, Fla. – The Rockledge Junior Little League baseball team came home to cheers on Sunday evening after achieving the ultimate goal that the team knew was possible long ago, according to Local 6 news partner Florida Today.
"As soon as we started practicing," pitcher and shortstop Mason Studstill said. "I noticed we had the talent and we just always worked hard, so I knew we could do something great."

And they did just that, bringing home the Junior Little League World Series title on Saturday.
"It feels great. I can't believe we've done it, just proud for everyone," said Studstill, who hit a record six home runs in the World Series, including two in the 12-10, extra-inning win over Aruba on Saturday in the final.
And they did it in thrilling fashion, using a series of exhilarating comebacks in pool play, staging late rallies and capping it off with a dramatic extra-inning win in the championship game.
"It's a miracle. Every game we came back and stayed in it," pitcher and first baseman Gavin Spinneweber said.
They did it with a combination of pitching and hitting that other teams found hard to beat — as their 49-game win streak proved.
Studstill led the tournament in home runs (6) and RBIs (14) while Drew Parrish led the way on the mound with 16 strikeouts.
Michael Hall was tied for the lead with two wins.
But despite all of that, the team seems to be focused on the future.
"We're always going to have fun together and hopefully we can have a good high school season all together," added Studstill.
And what does a championship team do now that they have won a World Series title?
"Go to school, play high school baseball, that's it," said Blake Beyel, who picked up the win in the championship game.
