Judge rules George Zimmerman jurors will be confidential

Judge Debra S. Nelson releases written orders of last week's rulings

ORLANDO, Fla. – The identities of the jurors selected in the case against George Zimmerman will be kept confidential during the second-degree murder trial, Judge Debra S. Nelson ordered on Wednesday.

Nelson said in her order, which puts into writing what she ruled last week, that the attorneys in the case will know the true identities of the jurors but their real names will  be kept off the record during the trial because of the high profile nature of the case.

What's not in Nelson's written order is if the jury will be sequestered once the trial begins and if the juror's name will be made known after the trial.

The motion says both sitting and prospective jurors will not be identified or photographed during the course of the trial.

Nelson also released an order on the state's motions, putting in writing what she granted at the hearing last week.

Jury selection is set to begin on Monday.
