Video shows kite smacking women on Brevard beach Strong winds from Tropical Storm Arthur whip kite
INDIAN HARBOUR BEACH, Fla. – Strong winds from Tropical Storm Arthur whipped a kite into two women who were watching kite surfers on Indian Harbour Beach.
Workers at MedCity Hovercraft captured the moment on camera and posted the video to YouTube.
The video starts with two men trying to launch the kite. However, the strong winds grab the kite, whipping it toward a woman standing on the beach. After knocking over the first woman, the kite speeds up and smacks a second woman watching from a boardwalk.

Workers at MedCity Hovercraft tell Local 6 the two women were hurt but didn't need to go to the hospital.
In the video description, the company said it posted the video as a reminder to check surroundings and be safe as more and more people participate in water sports in the summer months.
