Downtown Disney road improvements delayed

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. – Disney fans will have to wait a little bit longer to enjoy all the new road improvements being made at Downtown Disney.

According to the Orlando Sentinel, the improvements which were originally expected to wrap up in late 2016, are now projected to finish in mid-2017.

The new projects include additional ramps onto Epcot Center Drive from Buena Vista Dive and a new parking garage.

Disney tells the Sentinel that delays in removing an onsite building took longer than expected.
