Woman found dead behind home construction site, Satellite Beach police say Woman identified as Catherine Looby, of Melbourne
SATELLITE BEACH, Fla. – Satellite Beach police say a woman was found dead near a construction site Friday morning.
She has been identified as Catherine Gachet Looby, of Melbourne.
Police said the suspicious death is being investigated in the 700 block of Shell Street after the body was found at 7 a.m. behind the under construction beachfront home.
Catherine Looby Looby's vehicle, a silver 2012 Toyota Camry, was located in the area.
Police urged people to avoid the area of Shell Street during the investigation.
Deputies and police interviewed construction workers.
Investigators are asking anyone who might have seen Looby or her vehicle to contact them by calling the Brevard County Sheriff's Office Homicide Agent Don Reynolds at 321-253-6683, or CRIMELINE at 800-423-TIPS (8477).
