Gunmen rob Waffle House in Titusville, steal patron's car

TITUSVILLE, Fla. – Two gunmen robbed a Waffle House in Titusville early Tuesday, using a customer's vehicle to get away, according to police.

The robbery happened around 4:30 a.m. at 3565 Cheney Highway.

According to Titusville police, two men carrying guns entered the restaurant and stole cash from a register.  They fled in a customer's car, which was found abandoned nearby, police said.

No one was injured in the armed robbery.

The assailants were described as being in their early 20s.  They were wearing dark clothing and gloves, and their faces and heads were concealed.
