Linda Brantly, 58, was charged with aggravated child abuse after the Department of Children and Families reported her, prompting an Orange County Sheriff's Office investigation.

Deputies said they found two leashes on Brantly's laundry room floor with collars that Brantly attached to the children's wrists.

According to the report, the children told deputies they must also lift their hands in the air for a long time or lay in the plank position for 15 minutes as punishment.

DCF said  Brantly is the grandmother of the children. There were three children in the home and they have now been sheltered and placed in foster care.

Brantly was booked into the Orange County Jail on $5,000. She bonded out Thursday night and denied abusing her grandchildren to Local 6.
