Teacher accused of touching students faces additional charges

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – The Orange County teacher accused of touching students inappropriately is facing additional lewd and lascivious conduct charges, according to the state attorney's office.

Anthony Joseph Salvo, 31, of St. Cloud, who teaches at Renaissance Charter School in Hunters Creek, was arrested last month on charges of lewd or lascivious molestation on a victim under 18, lewd or lascivious conduct and false imprisonment of a child under the age of 13.

The state attorney's office said on Monday that Salvo faces a total of nine charges, including false imprisonment of a child under 13 and lewd and lascivious conduct.

Salvo was previously arrested on three charges. He was being held on no bond at the Orange County Jail.
