Woman leaving bar struck, killed in Orange City Fatal crash occurs near Nice and Easy Oyster Bar
ORANGE CITY, Fla. – A woman was struck and killed late Sunday in Orange City as she was leaving a bar, officials said.
Police said Lisa Lockhart, 48, of Orange City, died in the crash, which happened around 11 p.m. on North Volusia Avenue near the Nice and Easy Oyster Bar, not far from Minnesota Avenue.
Officials said Lockhart stepped into the path of a car and was struck. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver stopped and was questioned by investigators.
No other details have been released.
