SeaWorld's new 'Clyde & Seamore' show debuts

'Clyde & Seamore's Sea Lion High' now open

ORLANDO, Fla. – The all-new sea lion comedy adventure "Clyde & Seamore's Sea Lion High" is now open at SeaWorld Orlando.

The show features the same characters: sea lions, walruses, and otters, as the famous "Clyde and Seamore Take Pirate Island." That show ran for around 16 years before it was closed last August.

In this 30-minute show, Clyde and Seamore are nominated to win scholarships but have to graduate so they take crash courses in science, dance and gym. SeaWorld says in the comedy there are also lessons such as the importance of keeping the oceans healthy.

"We wanted to stick with the tradition of all the laughs and humor of our show, but we wanted to add another element of education and learning," said trainer, Todd Coffman.

SeaWorld said "Sea Lion High features a new, two-story set that is the marine mammal high school, complete with sea lion-sized waterslides and elevators for otters. SeaWorld's animal stars and trainers have also worked together to put together amazing new behaviors."

"Now, we have three or four downstairs three or four upstairs we have slide. We have towers on this end to dive off of, we have that end to dive off of," said Coffman.

You can catch the show two to three times a day depending on the season.
