Discovery Cove celebrates births of two Asian small-clawed otters
ORLANDO, Fla. – SeaWorld’s Discovery Cove is celebrating the birth and milestones of two Asian small-clawed otters. Officials said on Oct. 13, parents Mari and Hank welcomed the new otter pups, Emmie and Binx. According to the Association of Zoos and Aquariums, the Asian small-clawed otter is one of five otter species found in Asia. During the Freshwater Oasis experience at Discovery Cove guests can get the opportunity to swim side-by-side with the otters, with viewing opportunities above and below the water. ORLANDO, Fla – SeaWorld Orlando is preparing to welcome back its popular Seven Seas Food Festival beginning Feb. 5. SeaWorld’s preschool card is back: Children 5 and under get in free

SeaWorld Orlando celebrates the season with new holiday fireworks show
ORLANDO, Fla – SeaWorld Orlando is lighting up the night sky with an all-new holiday firework and fountain spectacular. Officials said on select nights, the theme park is presenting the new nighttime show, called Holiday Reflections: Fireworks and Fountains Finale. SeaWorld also plans on presenting a New Year’s Eve fireworks show and is now selling tickets for people to reserve a seat.
Mingle with flamingos: Discovery Cove introduces new experience
ORLANDO, Fla – SeaWorld’s Discovery Cove is introducing an all-new experience, the “Flamingo Mingle.”The private experience will begin at 8 a.m. each day and allow no more than eight guests the opportunity to feed and learn about the flamingos amid the tropical oasis theme park. Funeral home van carrying body catches fire on I-4
ORLANDO, Fla. – A funeral home van carrying a body on I-4 caught fire Saturday. The scene unfolded on Westbound I-4 near SeaWorld just before 11 a.m. Images show the white van completely engulfed in flames with thick black smoke billowing out. Before you start to assume that the body got a direct cremation, troopers said the driver removed the body from the burning vehicle before the flames reached it. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, no one was injured during the incident.
