The new 200-foot-tall coaster will open in 2016 and will "rise from the ocean depths and soar to thrilling new heights," according to a release from the SeaWorld Orlando park.

Officials said they will release more information in late May.

The mystery coaster will be SeaWorld's first coaster since Manta opened in 2009.

SeaWorld's attraction would remain the tallest in Orlando until the 570-foot vertical coaster, The Skyscraper, opens at Skyplex in 2017. The Skyscraper boasts to be the tallest roller coaster in the world.

The announcement comes a week after SeaWorld opened its new sea lion show, "Clyde and Seamore's Sea Lion High."
