DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Two parents lying by a Volusia County hotel pool Thursday were too drunk to notice their child's severe sunburn, Daytona Beach police say.
Workers at the Hawaiian Inn called police when they say the two-year-old was crying in pain because of his burned legs.
Workers said the child was wearing just a diaper.
The family was visiting from Alabama.
Both parents are charged with child neglect.
