ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Charges are pending against a 19-year-old driver who crashed his car into a telephone pole, causing an outage in Orange County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash happened at 11:19 a.m. Wednesday on Old Winter Garden Road at Dorscher Road.

Troopers said Gabriel Giannoni was traveling east in a 2003 Infiniti QX4 on Old Winter Garden Road in the right lane approaching the intersection of Harbor Point Boulevard.
Giannoni veered into the right-turn lane in an attempt to avoid colliding with a bus, causing him to lose control of the Infiniti, according to FHP.
As a result, the front of the Infiniti collided with a telephone phone, which resulted in a power outage, troopers said.
Giannoni did not suffer any injuries, according to FHP's report.
The crash remains under investigation.
