Man tried to sell stolen cars on Craigslist, Orange County deputies say

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Orange County deputies have arrested a man they say was selling stolen vehicles by advertising on Craigslist.

Lavan Joyner was charged with dealing in stolen property and grand theft auto.

The investigation began May 21 and arrested Joyner on May 26 as he attempted to sell one of the stolen vehicles.

Deputies said the vehicles being stolen were Ford and Dodge products and were advertised for way below market value.

Orange County Sheriff's Office is warning the public about being careful when making purchases.
