Rayshaan Berry shot, dumped on side of road

TITUSVILLE, Fla. – Officials arrested four people in the death of a man who was shot before being dumped on the side of State Road 50.

The Brevard County Sheriff's Office said David Richardson, 25; Sir Aljenon Ingram, 22; Kendrick Kitchen, 23; and Lauren Hudgens, 22, a Brevard deputy's daughter, have been charged with robbery with a firearm and first-degree murder.

According to deputies, Hudgens lured Rayshaan Berry to a motel Monday, where a group ambushed him. The investigation found that the group intended to rob Berry, but he refused and was shot.

Deputies said Berry's body was driven west of Interstate 95 on State Road 50, where it was dumped on the side of the road.

BCSO Maj. Tod Goodyear said other people are being investigated in the homicide, and he expects more arrests to be made.
