ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Wekiva High's football field will now be known as Baptiste Orthodontics Stadium after the Orange County School Board approved the naming rights agreement Tuesday.

Baptiste Orthodontics will pay a rate of $220,000 for eight years to have the stadium name displayed on signage and postings.

The naming rights agreement isn't the first in the school district. Others include:

  • Baptiste Orthodontics Ball Fields at Olympia High School
  • Nemours Stadium at Lake Nona High School
  • Heller Bros. Ballpark at West Orange High School

"We are happy to be able to support our local community," said Dr. Andre Baptiste, the owner of Baptiste Orthodontics. "When we heard that OCPS was looking for naming-rights partners for local high school stadiums, we thought it would be a great way to show our support and continue to align our values with those of the community. Our employees live here, a lot of our patients come from the surrounding area and we know how much Friday night football is a major event. We are happy to support Wekiva and Olympia and Orange County as a district."
