Single engine aircraft crashes into lake in Rosemont Pilot only person on board

ORLANDO, Fla. – A single engine experimental aircraft has crashed into a lake off Lake Orlando Parkway in Rosemont.

Orlando Police Department said according to the pilot he was heading back to the airport hanger when his plane lost power forcing him to make an emergency landing into Lake Orlando.
The pilot was not hurt in the accident.
Orlando Fire Department is working to contain the fuel and remove the plane from the water.
