High-speed accident leaves one person dead, FHP says Accident occurred at Orange Avenue and Town Center Boulevard No description found
ORLANDO, Fla. – The Florida Highway Patrol said Jaileen Rodriguez, 22, of Kissimmee, lost control of her car while traveling at high speed was killed and her passenger injured.
Rodriguez was driving a 1998 Acura at a high rate of speed on Orange Avenue and lost control, causing the car to strike a light pole, troopers said.
The passenger, Richard Santiago, 21, of Kissimmee, was transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center and is listed in serious condition.
The crash remains under investigation.
