Florida Hospital For Women to open

New 332-bed facility debuts at Florida Hospital in downtown Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla. – Women in Central Florida will soon have a new option when it comes to medical services. 

A brand new facility aimed at treating female health issues will open Monday in downtown Orlando. 

Florida Hospital For Women is a 12-story, 332-bed facility at Florida Hospital. The first phase for the $180 million project focuses on young women and babies, cardiac care and breast cancer treatment. 

The second phase of the project, which will be completed later this year, will include oncology and women's surgery. 

The ribbon cutting for Florida Hospital for Women is set for 10 a.m.
