Man, 72, accused of having sex with teen William Leach III held in Brevard County Jail
PALM BAY, Fla. – Palm Bay police are searching for more possible victims after a man was arrested on charges of traveling across Central Florida to have sex with a teenage girl.
Officers said William Leach III, 72, traveled from Ocala to Palm Bay to meet a 16-year-old.
Police said they originally started investigating Leach in December when they were contacted by the teen's mother.
Leach was arrested Monday after investigators said they followed him from a Palm Bay motel to the girl's home.
Leach has been charged with one count of unlawful sexual assault with certain minors and two counts of traveling to meet a minor.
He is being held in the Brevard County Jail on a $105,000 bond.
