Police ID 2 killed in Winter Park shooting

No suspects sought in fatal shooting, police say

WINTER PARK, Fla. – Winter Park police say they aren't searching for suspects in a shooting that left two men dead, and also released the victims' identities on Thursday.

The shooting happened around 9:45 p.m. Wednesday on West Comstock Avenue off Fairbanks Avenue, blocks from Rollins College.

Police said Frank Freeman, 46, and Jordan Ingram, 24, were found dead near a home on Comstock Avenue. Their relationship wasn't released by police, but neighbors tell News 6 it appears Freeman was dating Ingram's mother.

One man was found dead in a yard behind a home on Comstock Avenue, and the other body was found on a nearby sidewalk, according to police.

Witnesses called 911 after hearing shots fired on the street, police said.

Winter Park police continued to investigate Thursday, scouring for clues.

"We don't like to experience this. Obviously, the public doesn't like to hear this happening, but unfortunately, since this happened, we have to come out here and take care of the situation," Winter Park police Lt. Pam Marcum said. "All I can tell you is that we're not looking, it appears, for anybody else at this point."

No other details have been released.
