2nd arrest made in fatal shooting at Glitz nightclub

10 people shot in incident that killed 2 people

ORLANDO, Fla. – Orlando police have made a second arrest in the fatal shooting at the Glitz Ultra Lounge nightclub.

Luis Gadiel Cruz Nazario, 21, was arrested Thursday on charges of attempted first-degree murder, aggravated battery with a firearm, aggravated assault, shooting into or throwing deadly missile and use of a firearm in commission of a felon, carrying a concealed firearm.

According to court documents, Nazario was arrested on January 13 on heroin trafficking charges. He was out on bond when police arrested him in connection with the nightclub shooting.

Jose Brull Lopez was also rearrested on Thursday on charges of shooting into or throwing a deadly missile into a structure and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. Lopez was first arrested February 12 on charges of carrying a concealed firearm and tampering with physical evidence.

The victims killed in the shooting were identified last week as Joseph Villalobos, 22, and Jonathan Avila Rojas, 33. Both died of gunshot wounds.

In total, 10 people were shot in the incident, police said. Five of the people shot were innocent bystanders at the club who suffered non-life-threatening injuries, police said. They were all treated and released from the hospital.

The shooting was the third at Glitz Ultra Lounge in the past year.
