3 hospitalized after small plane fire at Orlando International Airport

Cause of fire unknown

ORLANDO, Fla. – A small plane caught fire while being serviced at the Cessna Citation Service Center at Orlando International Airport Saturday, sending three workers to the hospital.

Orlando International Airport spokesperson Carolyn Fennell said that the fire did not impact any commercial flights or put any passengers in danger. 

The three people who were injured were employees working on the plane at the Cessna Citation Service Center located at 4134 Bear Road on the west side of OIA, Fennell said.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
