Body found in Melbourne pharmacy doorway No obvious signs of trauma to man's body, police say
MELBOURNE, Fla. – Detectives are investigating the death of a 48-year-old man whose body was found at the front door of a Melbourne pharmacy.
According to News 6 partner Florida Today, the unidentified man’s body was discovered about 6:45 a.m. Sunday as a store manager arrived to open the Walgreens at 975 S. Babcock Street near the intersection of NASA Boulevard.
“He appears to be homeless and died sometime overnight,” said Sgt. Trevor Shaffer of the Melbourne Police Department.
Officers said there were no obvious signs of trauma.
The body was turned over to the medical examiner’s office for further investigation.
