Deputies ID man, woman found dead inside Orange County home

11-year-old child calls 911; murder-suicide suspected

ORLANDO, Fla. – The Orange County Sheriff's Office has released the name of the two adults found dead inside a gated community on Easter.

Investigators said that Gladys Rosario, 39, was shot and killed by her spouse, Pedro Rosado, 39. Rosado then committed suicide after the murder.

The Orange County Sheriff's Office said deputies went to the home after an 11-year-old reported a shooting at his home.

Deputies said the call came in at 9:10 a.m. from a home in the 400 block of Pepin Drive in the Lake Kehoe subdivision near Lake Underhill Drive and Alafaya Trail.

When deputies arrived, they said they found several children and the bodies of Rosario and Rosado, both 39, inside the home. Both adults, believed to the be the parents of the children, suffered gunshot wounds, officials said.

The children, who were not injured, were placed in the custody of relatives.

"It's just so sad, you know? And shocking," a neighbor said. "I'm just coming from church, and the whole time I'm in church I'm saying, 'Oh, my God.' I can't believe it."

Relatives were seen taking out the family's belongings from their rented home inside the Lake Kehoe Preserve community.

Rosario's family posted on social media that she was the mother of 5 young children.

The family is raising money to cover funeral expenses. Any leftover funds will go towards providing therapy for the children.

The Orange County Sheriff's Office said that deputies have never been called to the home before.

According to the Orange County Clerk of Court's website, Rosado's only run-in with the law over the past 14 years has been minor traffic tickets.
