Man shot dead in Orlando ID'd

ORLANDO, Fla. – A man was shot dead early Monday in Orange County, deputies said.

Alex Donte Barclay, 20, died in the shooting, which occurred around 12:15 a.m. in the 1700 block of Lee Street near Parramore Avenue and Westmoreland Drive in Orlando.

According to the Orange County Sheriff's Office, deputies were called to the area and found Barclay suffering from a gunshot wound.

Barclay was later pronounced dead, deputies said.

No information about the shooter was immediately known, officials said.
